In 2023 I lost over 500,000 dollars in a Web3 collapse.
Not paper money. Real money. Mine, and other people's.
Before that I spent about ten years in insurance. I was the guy teaching people how to manage money while I could not manage my own.
What followed is the part nobody puts on a slide. Debt. A year working out who I was without a title.
My marriage held. Married, three happy kids, still here.
I rebuilt as Bobby Sim, the person. That is the whole positioning.
I did not come back with a new brand name or a founder archetype.
I write about it publicly because the cost was real, and most successful people cannot access that story.
Here is my frame on AI. Coordination can be automated. Analysis can be automated. Decks can be automated. What cannot be replicated is you. Relationship, trust, and lived cost. That is the moat.

Ex co-owner of Team Flash and RSG, two of Southeast Asia's top esports organisations, and Chief Operating Officer at RSG. I left Team Flash early. RSG took over 300 podium finishes and seven figures in revenue. Team operations, sponsorship, community, and my first real read on what a young audience actually pays attention to.

NexStox holds a Labuan Exchange licence from the Labuan Financial Services Authority, granted August 2025, and is one of five licensed platforms of its kind. Tokenising an asset is the easy half. Building somewhere regulated for it to actually trade is the half nobody talks about.

An AI video and image generation platform for indie creators, pitched as the first Web3 AI video platform. Text to video, image to video, and an image studio, on credits and subscriptions. The comparables are Higgsfield and Runway. The differentiator is not the generation, which is rented from models everyone can rent. It is the layer on top: creator profiles, earning as you create, and a community that owns part of what it builds.

Four to six posts a day on a monetised Facebook profile, not a page. Founder stories, family, life experience. The profile averages two to four million impressions a month, mostly Singapore and Malaysia. AI handles about ninety percent of the ideation and generation. I still decide what is true and what gets posted.
AI in production
I am not an AI commentator. I run these in production, on businesses that take real money and ship real product.
A same-day delivery engine for fresh durian into Singapore. Order before 11am, delivered between 12 and 5pm. Automated courier selection and quoting, batch routing across dual delivery slots, and a watcher that proposes the booking to me on Telegram and bumps it if I do not act.
AI generated video, AI talking-head video, generated b-roll and quote cards. About ninety percent of my content ideation and generation runs through AI now, at four to six posts a day. It is built to hold my voice rather than flatten it into generic AI output, so the judgement stays mine and the volume is the machine's.
This site, the DatoDurian storefront, the Bored2AI platform, and a stack of internal tools: delivery batching, order reconciliation, reply engines, reporting bots. I am not a trained engineer. I direct AI to build, then I test it in production on businesses that take real money.
A personal knowledge system with over a thousand atomic notes and a calibrated model of how I think, decide and sound. It drafts in my voice, holds my decision criteria, and refuses the things I have already said no to.

It is the same question asked four ways. Why do people and timing work the way they do, and can I design around that instead of forcing through it.
I forced through it once. It cost me 500k.
I do not teach any of this and I am not qualified to. I use it to make my own decisions, and I say so when it is the reason.
